Tribune Goes Private, May Sell Cubs

The Tribune Company has announced...
a transaction which will take the company private, with shareholders receiving $34 per share in a two-stage plan... Tribune Company has intentions of selling the Chicago Cubs as well as its 25% share in Comcast SportsNet Chicago at the end of the 2007 baseball season
