'The Producers' Closes Sunday
Max Bialystock and Leo Bloom said goodbye Sunday to Broadway, as "The Producers," the hit Mel Brooks musical, ended its New York run after 2,502 performances(from Associated Press, via Yahoo News).

Tribune Goes Private, May Sell Cubs
The Tribune Company has announced...a transaction which will take the company private, with shareholders receiving $34 per share in a two-stage plan... Tribune Company has intentions of selling the Chicago Cubs as well as its 25% share in Comcast SportsNet Chicago at the end of the 2007 baseball season(from Cynopsis).
