ER is shooting here until Sunday morning. This weekend, they plan to film a car driving off upper Wacker Drive, landing in the river and sinking; fun stuff.

I think three major feature films were shooting in the Chicago area today (in alphabetic order):Ocean's Twelve is only shooting in part here, and I believe some locations for Ice Harvest may be outside of Chicago, to the north (e.g., Milwaukee); it's good to have films here.
I've read the book Ice Harvest is based on; I liked it.

Settlement made with talent agency over non-payment of fees to actors:
McBlaine's settlement to a number of actors, who were owed a few hundred dollars to $12,000, was finalized March 29 and most of the actors paid in full
