Two years ago today:On a gorgeous Tuesday morning, terrorists fly two commercial airliners into New York City's World Trade Center "Twin Towers," and a third into the Pentagon in Washington DC, causing mass death, destruction and chaos in both cities. All Broadway and Off-Broadway theatrical performances are cancelled for the next two days. Theatrical performances are also cancelled around the U.S.(from Playbill). 'The fourth hijacked plane, United Airlines Flight 93, crashed in a Pennsylvania field after passengers and crew tried to retake control of the plane from hijackers' (from wikipedia).
